Mobile Service Centre for

Chassis/brake repair and maintenance

We are one of the very few mobile services that have been given the status of AL-KO mobile service centre. We carry a complete range of bearings, brake shoes, springs, cables and nuts which are all genuine AL-KO parts. Our service consists of removing brake drums, checking linings, bearings and cleaning all components with brake cleaning fluid. We then reassemble and adjust. We then grease the draw bar and check the damper condition. All linkages are greased and lubricated. If parts are required, we will inform you of the cost before any work is carried out. We can also check the condition of your tyres and if they are found to be unsafe we will bring this to your attention. We have full mobile tyre fitting facilities and carry a stock of tyres.

Electrical problems

We carry a range of test equipment which can be used to diagnose any electrical fault.

LPG gas pressure checks

L.P.G gas pressure testing consists of a number of checks to the gas system in your caravan or motor home. L.P.G gas is heavier than air, if there is a leak in your system, gas will lie on the floor or in cupboards and bed boxes. This is the reason vents are situated at these locations. These must not be covered. We are fully qualified to carry out a full gas test on your system and on completion we can issue a report. If you decide to sell your caravan or motor home, having a gas report will give prospective buyer’s piece of mind that the system is safe and working normally. We are fully mobile and the work can be carried out at any location.

Damp checks and NCC damp reports

Damp is one of the commonest problems in caravans and motor homes. By checking for damp annually, any problem areas can be repaired and resealed. If damp is not discovered in the early stages, rot and decay will affect the frame work. This can result in a very expensive repair bill. If you decide to buy a caravan, we would suggest you ask to see a damp report. If you buy privately, we can carry out this service on your behalf and a full NCC damp report can be provided.
